The Hope Foundation is committed to paving sustainable pathways for youth from underserved communities. To ensure the youth’s financial empowerment, HOPE supports different livelihood projects for young adults. Placement opportunities is a crucial mainstay of this programme.

2024/25 Key Achievements
  • 850 trainees completed life skills courses.

  • 711 trainees went on to earn an income or were linked with job opportunities.

  • 8 trainees from the HOPE Café completed the course and were placed in restaurants & cafes.

Training Courses

Hope Kolkata Foundation implements the following projects as a part of the vocational skills. A holistic curriculum and placement opportunities ensure that students have continued access to financial empowerment.

Computer Training Unit

Set up in Howrah and Kolkata, the Computer Training Units offer 2 courses: Computer Applications and Financial Accounting (including Tally and GST).

Meant exclusively for female students, this course offers an intensive hands-on training course.

HOPE Café Training Unit

Hope Café’s Training Unit offers a Food and Beverage course to young adults from different residential child care centres and other young adults from non-residential care.
