Komatsu Mining Corp in collaboration with The Hope Foundation India inaugurated a mobile ambulance for the homeless population. The medical van is equipped with life saving instruments and would have a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, attendant and driver always on board to serve the needy. The mobile medical van will be running 24 hours in West Bengal.
The medical van was inaugurated by the Japanese Consulate Mr Maasayuki Taga along with Mr Shib Bhowmick, Country Head of Komatsu Mining Corp, Mr Vijay Singh Bhandari, President of the Hope Foundation India and Chairman of Bhandari Automobiles, Ms Geeta Venkadakrishnan, Director of The Hope Foundation India, Mr Sachinanda Das, Finance Director of The Hope Foundation and Mr Samiran Mallick, CEO of the Hope Hospital.
